Turret Board

Traditional turret board is great for guitar amplifier repair or DIY electronic projects.

This turret board is great for guitar amplifier repair or DIY electronic projects right up into RF! Heat and high frequency stable design with 19 pairs of independent, silver plated turrets. Measures 200mm (7-7/8") long, 78mm (3-1/16") wide and is on 2.2mm FR4 grade glass epoxy board. Rear can easily be insulated from the chassis with electrical grade cardboard or a simple spacer on the mounting screws.

The holes on this turret board are spaced to allow chassis mountable octal or 9-pin sockets to be mounted on standoffs, to allow a standalone point-to-point wired project!

Room enough for mounting larger components, like axial capacitors and wirewound resistors.

Tag Board

This tag board is great for guitar amplifier repair or DIY electronic projects.

Heavy duty design with 24 pairs of independent, pre-tinned tags. Measures 200mm (7-7/8") long, 78mm (3-1/16") wide by 13mm (1/2") thick (including the tags. Base board material which insulates the tags from the rear is 3mm (1/8") thick). This is no flimsy board either, manufactured from resin composites.

Tag board is better than conventional Turret board in many ways. Component leads can be layed into the tags, rather than wrapped around. This makes for tighter construction and easier disassembly or replacement of parts. Also there is much less physical force exerted, since you don't wrap the leads, meaning longer life.

Room enough for mounting larger components, like axial capacitors and wirewound resistors. Holes down the centre of the board for mounting tube sockets on standoffs... handy for making an all-on-one project!

Tag board is great, especially for development or continual circuit modification when repeated soldering/desoldering of components is required.

Blank FR4 Material

This blank FR4 material is great for custom making your own turret boards for guitar or HiFi amplifier projects.

2mm thick fibreglass board is 68mm (2-5/8") wide and is in limited stock in the various lengths listed (custom cuts, drilling or turret service aren't available at this time).

The turrets we sell will go with this board nicely.

Perf Board

Perf board is great for HiFi, guitar amplifier, crossover or other electronic projects. Just about anywhere you need to fit a variety of various objects of different lead lengths.

Heavy duty glass epoxy board with 216 holes on a 9.5mm (3/8") grid in a 27 x 8 pattern. Measures 262mm (10-5/16") long, 78.5mm (3-3/32") wide by 2mm (5/64") thick.

Holes will accomodate eyelets or turrets, #4 screws or anything requiring a 1/8" hole for clearance. The glass epoxy construction means the board will not chip, flake, crack or break if you redrill for another hole size or add more holes offset to the grid.

The large turrets we sell will fit this board nicely.

The board can also handle higher tempratures than standard fibre or phenolic based perf boards. Wirewound power resistors won't give this board a heart attack over time.
